What makes us laugh

Hi readers, It’s Kerry and William here today, talking together about what makes us laugh.

Right now we are both laughing as we are writing this article on zoom, as we can only see the top of Kerry’s head. For some reason my, Kerry’s, laptop has moved and the only way William can see me is if I move my wheelchair back a bit. All a bit odd as I’ve been on zoom all day and it’s been fine until now!

I also find that when I am doing walking exercises, out of my wheelchair, and using a frame, if someone says something that makes me laugh, I walk faster. So, if you see me in town walking, please come over and share a joke!

We both enjoy a good laugh when out with friends. I (Kerry) laugh a lot at my friend Steve’s jokes, or when someone says boo and makes me jump. Not so good if I have a cup of coffee in my hand. I also can’t help noticing how William smiles when I say that I’ve been to the pub. Why is that I wonder?

Some of our friends make us laugh a lot too. Chris with his jokes and slogan jumpers, Debbie with her infectious giggle, Adam and his quick wit, and others like Emily, Nick and Matthew because they just know how to make us laugh. It feels good to be with them.

I, William, also find I laugh when watching lots of TV comedy programmes. I especially like Father Ted, the Royale Family, Mrs Brown, Dads Army and Only Fools and Horses. I think Michael McIntyre is funny, as is the Wheel. Googlebox makes both of us laugh.

So, readers, what makes you laugh? Want to share your best joke with us?
