Projects and Services

What We Do

We strive to remove the barriers which people with learning disabilities sadly still encounter in society.

Our projects start by empowering people with learning disabilities coming together at our Friendship Club to make friends, a supported social network which connects people to each other and their communities.

Next, people meet at Speaking Up and Action Groups groups to develop their ability to talk about important issues in their lives. Here they are able to raise concerns, seek solutions and develop communication skills about issues ranging from everyday things like buying a drink to more serious issues such as discrimination or health inequalities.
