Fly on the wall

Hi readers, it’s Emily and William this week wondering about where we’d go if we could be a fly on the wall!

First, we thought we’d go to the cinema and watch lots of films, that would be fun. We might then head to our parents and hear what they talk about when their friends turn up and we are not around. We wonder if they they talk about us and what do they say? If they saw us on their curtain, I hope they wouldn’t swipe us!

What would be really cool though would be to go into places like government to find out what’s going on behind the scenes – what do they know and we’d like to see how politicians really make big decisions. Will it give us more or less confidence in them?

We’d also love to help stop terrorism, perhaps listen in to plots being hatched so we can offer intelligence to secret services which will help stop wars and people being killed. How amazing would that be.

Last but not least we’d like to head to Buckingham Palace, but we’d actually prefer to meet the Queen than listen in to her conversations. We just don’t feel right invading her privacy. It’s interesting we think that about her but not other people so much, perhaps it’s about our respect for the Queen. I, William though would like to hear Prince Charles and William have a conversation and I, Emily would like to listen in on Harry and Meghan!

What is weird is now, as we write, there is a fly on the wall in the beach hut. We can’t help wondering if he is listening in and what on earth he is thinking about our conversation.
