One thing after another!

Hi readers, it’s Kerry and Emily here. This week, it’s me, Kerry, sharing another busy week of different things going on! .

Last Monday I went to my weekly Film Club. This week we made up different sequences, then filmed them. It’s fun working together and seeing everyone's ideas come to life.

Then on Tuesday, it was Weymouth Friendship Club. After we all walked along the seafront, it was time for fish and chips. Although we booked, the fish and chip shop got a surprise when so many of us arrived together! With loads of orders all at once, a few got mixed up. We all had a laugh about it and the food was tasty.

Wednesday started with a shock when I found a leak in my bathroom. After spending ages trying to work out where it was coming from, we discovered it was caused by a blocked drain a few doors away. That meant a morning of phone calls and emails, but thankfully it got sorted on Thursday. It reminded me that things aren't always what they first seem!

On Thursday I joined MAKE online (more about that another time), which is always interesting. Did you know as part of this work, we had three parliamentary questions asked about the Timms Review! Perhaps that needs to go in another column.

On Friday I didn't have my usual support here, so my partner Steve and I spent the day together instead. Sometimes it's nice just to slow down, spend time together and enjoy each other's company.

Weeks like this remind me that life is full of surprises and changes - some are fun, some are frustrating, but every day seems to bring something new. I hope you are all off to a good start with this one!
