Hi readers, it’s Emily, Kerry and William here this week talking all about chocolate!
I, Emily, will get us started as am clear on my favourite, definitely Cadburys whole nut. It’s hard to explain exactly why I like it so much, perhaps it’s the crunchiness and texture of the nuts inside, or that it’s more of a special bar. I do still like plain Cadburys chocolate. On a very special occasion I might buy Green and Blacks because it feels more fancy and richer, depending on which flavour you have. For me, Kerry, it’s simply plain Cadburys, and definitely not dark chocolate. I, William, like plain Galaxy or Cadburys Fruit and Nut, because it just tastes different.
When we eat chocolate, and what, depends on the time of day. Right now it’s 530pm and I, Kerry would have an Mint Aero bubble bar, because I’ve just had dinner. I, William need a Kings Size Mars Bar as I’ve been working hard all day, am hungry and won’t have tea until after 730pm. And me Emily, would have a light bite as I’m having tea after this and don’t want to spoil my appetite, maybe a two finger kit kat.
We all agreed if we were invited out to dinner, we’d probably take something like After 8’s or those Lindt balls.
We finished by talking about Easter Eggs, and how we are mostly paying for packaging and air! We worry how some parents, struggling to make ends meet, will afford these pricey Easter Eggs for their kids. That got us thinking about Easter in general, how many people know what it’s really about…… more on that another time!
Have a good rest of the week, and do think about what chocolate you eat - when - and why!
