What’s in store for 2023?

Hi readers, it’s Emily, Kerry and William here this week writing at the end of 2022, thinking about what we want for 2023. We had a shaky start to our meeting due to a technology fault but more on that next week!

So, I, Kerry have decided to do things differently when people are unfairly unpleasant or horrible to me. I’d been feeling a bit out of sorts over Christmas because this happened to me, and now I’ve realised I don’t want to be taken advantage of any more. I am going to pull back from people who don’t respect or value me. It feels a bit weird right now, yet also empowering to make a decision which is right for me.

I’d also love to go on holiday as I’ve not been away since before covid, though must weigh that up with getting some new flooring in my flat!

As for me, Emily, first I hope our housing provider will finally replace our rusty microwave as they have promised to do. We’ve been waiting for 9 weeks! How long can it take to buy a microwave?!

I also want to be healthy this year and to continue to be happy, so quite simple things. There’s nothing else I can really think of. A holiday would be nice but if it doesn’t happen, it doesn’t happen. Oh, and I’d like people like footballers to be paid less and carers, nurses and other support people to be paid more. Some of their work is really hard and they deserve to be better valued. More on that another time too!

As for me, William, I would like world peace, and to visit my sister in America. I’d love to get away from this horrible wet weather, to be somewhere warm and sunny.
