Hi readers, it’s William here for one more column without Kerry and Emily. We plan to meet this week so watch out next week!
I hope you were ok in the latest winds we over the last two days. If you are interested in my thoughts about wind, and climate change, go back and read the last two columns, as that’s what I was writing about. And now, another storm with gusty winds!
Today though, I’m sharing a conversation I had recently, about what I’d do if I only had a month to live and was given £100,000 which I had to spend in that time.
The first thing I’d do is book a holiday to somewhere hot, like Spain, or even Australia. I’d take as many of my close friends with me that could make it. We’d stay in a fancy hotel with a swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi, with great food and friendly staff.
After two weeks of fun with friends, I’d either fly my family over to join me, or go home and stay with them. We’d have lovely walks, go out to eat, play board games, visit some country gardens, and have quality time together.
I’d also have a party or a splash out meal with people I work with, from People First Dorset, Borough Gardens, Eucan and Dobbies. They are all good fun to work with and kind, nice people. I would also donate some money to charity, like People First Dorset, to help their work.
My best movie actor of all time is John Travolta, as think his acting (and dancing) are brilliant. If he was free to join me at any point, that would be the icing on the cake!
If you were ever in this situation, what would you do?
