Hello and welcome readers, Emily and William here sharing with you our dream homes.
This week it’s ladies first with my, Emily’s ideal home, a house in a small village with plenty of shops nearby to walk to.
Starting downstairs, I’d have a big posh kitchen with large work surfaces, a table with chairs and nice cushions. There’d be a coffee machine, a fridge with water dispenser, lovely glasses, plain cups and plates. It’d be amazing to have a cook too, where I can help with the cooking if I want to. There’d also be a utility room where the washing machine and coats can go.
I see in my lounge big soft reclining arm chairs with cup holders, games consoles to share with my friends and a huge tv. The walls would be plain and the room brightened with turquoise accessories.
Going upstairs, I’d have 3 bedrooms, so friends and family can easily stay over. My bedroom would have a big bed with a fluffy duvet and a walk in wardrobe. I’d love someone in to help me decide what to wear. Like the lounge, I’d have plain walls with jazzy accessories. The bathroom enjoys a walk in shower and a bath which creates bubbles at the touch of a button! Naturally I’d have fluffy towels too!
I’d also love an office with an armchair to work from. I could write our Echo columns from there. There’d be good wifi speeds of course.
Outside I’d have a front and back garden where I’d grow vegetables and pretty flowers. There’d be relaxing chairs and benches to sit and enjoy it. The icing on the cake would be a swimming pool, heated even in winter, in an environmentally friendly way.
In the meantime, I love where I am but it’s good to dream!
