Emily’s birthday

Hi readers, it’s Emily and William here this week talking about my, Emily’s birthday. Although we are writing this on Thursday, it will be published on my actual birthday next week, on Tuesday!

William has just asked me if I feel any older. Probably not, as I think age is just a number. It also seems like only yesterday it was my big 30th birthday, a baking hot day where we had a lovely time celebrating and sweltering in my Mum’s garden.

This year I am going with my new house mates and staff, plus William and friend Jack, to Pizza Express. It’s a present from my Mum and it will be really nice to be out for dinner with everyone.

It will also be the first birthday I’ve stayed away from my Mum, as I’ll be sleeping in my new house that evening. I am not going to work on Monday or Tuesday, but will see Mum on my birthday and hoping that my brother will be with us to share the day. On Monday I am looking forward to a lazy day in the house, just hanging out.

So, what am I looking forward to in the year ahead? I am excited to be sharing more birthdays in the house, the next one being in September, where we are going out to dinner in Poole. I am also looking forward to going on holiday with my house mates next year. We are going to Butlins together, which will be fab! And of course, I am excited to see I Ronan Keating in concert next year, which I really hope doesn’t get cancelled again.

Most of all I want to stay fit, healthy and just have a great year!
